Risk Assessment for Voxpop on Latest Trends this Christmas/ New Years!

Hazard	Who may be harmed and how	How t prevent the hazard from happening.
Bumping into people in oxford street as it’s a very busy area at Christmas time whilst trying to do my voxpop.	I will be harmed as well as the public as I may be seen as a burden in peoples way.	Don’t go and try and get opinions from people in a very busy area because they simply won’t have time and effort to do the voxpop.
People getting annoyed with me as I’m trying to approach them to a voxpop.	The people who I am trying to the the opinions may be harmed as I may be bothering them whilst they are in a rush and hurry to go somewhere.	Before do the voxpop I should ensure that they are not busy and explain to them what I am doing and ask if it’s okay to take up 2 minutes of their time to prevent them from getting irritated.
Getting hit by a car/ in the way of busy roads	I will be harmed if I try and do a voxpop in a middle of a road and could possibly get hit by a car.	By staying near pavements and away from roads and only taking peoples opinions on the pavement will prevent the harm in me getting hit by cars on the road.

Risk assessment for doing Voxpop on cyclist story!

Hazard	Who might be harmed and how?	How will I prevent it from happening
Getting hit by a car on the road whilst trying to approach somebody on the other end of the road.	I may be harmed as I am the person carrying out the voxpop and the driver.	I will look carefully before crossing the road and ensure the green man pops up before I cross the road. Also try and stay on pavements most of the time.
People getting frustrated and end up assaults/ shout’s at you.	I may be harmed as well as the person that I’m trying to get the information from as they may get angry if they don’t want to take up their time and talk on my voxpop.	Before I start the voxpop I will ask them if they are busy and if it’s okay if I take up 2 minutes of their time, and explain politely about my media coursework.
Getting harassed by drunk/gangs.	I will be harmed as they may give inappropriate information and rob me.	I will stay in a well known area that I am comfortable with and stay around places that are busy. Also doing this in the daylight to avoid the gangs.

Akfa: So guys tell me about your new single.

Shazmin: It consists of lively music, as we want it to appeal to the youngsters out there.

Fahima: This album is going to be released next week so hurry before it sells out.

Akfa: So are you guys going on tour anytime soon?

Shazmin: We’ve got a fun pack tour coming up this March. So I hope you peeps have bought you tickets.

Fahima: We’ve also got special guests who are going to perform with us.

Akfa: So can we get an exclusive sneak peek here at Teenbuzz?

Shazmin: Nope, you just have to wait and see.

Akfa: Stay tuned as after the break, Shazmin & Fahima are going to preform live their new single, don’t go anywhere.
